The Ampersand Hotel

Jacket - Reiss     Long sleeve top - Zara    Bag - Barbour     Watch - John Rocha      Jeans - Zara    Boots - TopMan

Last weekend myself (dressed as a ninja, All black everything) and Lydia (Also dressed as a ninja) to a trip down to London as she had some work for London fashion week, We had a nights stay in the gorgeous Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington, It is located right next to the tube so it is really convenient to get around the city. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely friendly staff & taken up to our room where we spent most of our evening, Yes room service was flowing through our door like it was going out of fashion haha. The room was really spacious and offered pure comfort for us to put our feet up and chill. Bathrooms always make or break hotels for me and the Ampersand didn't let me down, I mean it had a TV in the bath that wins any man over right? 10 points for anyone who spotted the rubber ducky before reading this.

Aside from the room the Hotel has lots more to offer a Gym (essential) a games room / drawing rooms / wine room / Library and the Apero Bar and Restaurant where we had the perfect breakfast to kick start our day, The Apero is based in a cellar and its interior design is really cool with a modern / industrial feel to it, I defiantly recommend a visit down there as they have a great cocktail menu so an evening of drinks would be perfect. I forgot to mention they have a Tea room unfortunately unlike mine and Lydia's tradition of booking in for afternoon tea we had other obligations so had to miss out , I managed to take a glimpse at the three tier cake stands though and my heart sunk a little when the realisation kicked in there was no cake for me that day haha. Overall i loved the stay and would recommend and re visit in the future.
